Personal Hobbies and Interests
At home, she has two rescue cats, Suki and Kiko, and two rescue guinea pigs, Poppy and Flora. Outside of work, she enjoys arts and crafts, thrifting/antiquing, baking, and spending time in nature. She also has a background in art and design.

She aspires to work with many different species throughout her career in veterinary medicine.
Why I Chose This Profession
Animals have always been an important part of her life, and she has wanted to work with them from a very young age.
Education
Valerie studied graphic design at the Fashion Institute of Technology before pursuing veterinary medicine. She graduated from State University of New York at Delhi in 2020 and received her Veterinary Technician license shortly after. She also received her wildlife rehabilitation license in the state of New York.
Work History
Valerie joined Team QCAH in July of 2025, and it's great to have her smiling face around the hospital! She moved to Charlotte in January of 2025 from the Hudson Valley area of New York.
